Mattawa Adventure Camp is a family camp owned and operated by Wim Smulders and Claire Ortiz.

We are a four-season camp located up North in the beautiful town of Mattawa Ontario.

We are situated on the scenic Upper Ottawa River, with full access to Mattawa River, which is only a couple of hundred meters away. No matter what the season, there’s always something fun and interesting to do here: fishing, boating, hiking, ATVing, golfing, snowmobiling, skiing, shopping, and more.

 

Waterfront housekeeping cottages with wood stoves, rooms with jacuzzi tub and rental equipment are available. We also offer many different packages to choose from ATVing, Snowmobiling and Fishing.

 

Snowmobilers will appreciate a .5km ride to access the OFSC trail, close to the town for fuel, food and repair shops for winter touring.

 

We also have access to the VMUTS trail for ATVers – approximately a 1.5 km ATV ride to the trailhead and enjoy the 300 km trails and we have a  free washing station for our guests for their ATV machine after a muddy ride. Park at the camp and ride your machine to the trails. 

 

Fishermen will appreciate free parking and launching for their boats. Fishing in Mattawa and Ottawa River for musky, walleye, pike, pickerel and bass is easy to find for fisherman.
